HMLA-169, known as the "Vipers," is a U.S. Marine Corps light attack helicopter squadron established in 1971. The squadron flies the AH-1Z Viper and UH-1Y Venom helicopters, providing versatile support in both offensive and utility roles. Based at Marine Corps Air Station Camp Pendleton, California, HMLA-169 has been involved in numerous major conflicts, including Operations Desert Storm, Iraqi Freedom, and Enduring Freedom.
