This design is inspired by the Hawker Hunter on display with the Hunter Fighter Collection. The Hawker Hunter, originally entering service with the Royal Air Force in 1956, was transferred to the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) in 1973. While with the RSAF, the aircraft participated in joint exercises and training at RAAF Base Williamtown, NSW. In 1995, the Hunter was imported to Australia and donated to Fighter World, Newcastle. Fighter World volunteers assembled and restored the aircraft for display. Later, the Fighter World loaned the Hunter to Hunter Collection Inc. for display at the Hunter Warbirds Aviation Attraction in Scone, NSW, where it was repainted in a RAF 20 Squadron color scheme by HFC conservation volunteers.
